About Us

Marty & Amy have been married for nine years. Marty writes for computer publications. Amy works for a university. They have two spoiled dogs. Maxie, who is six, is an Australian Cattle Dog (AKA "Blue Heeler"). She reminds us of Hank the Cowdog a bit too often. Brownie, who is five, is a golden misbehaver, we mean, retriever. She is a happy dog who likes to play.

We both love to read. Marty's other hobbies include rebuilding a 1970 Mustang, hunting, and playing computer games. Amy enjoys all things Jane Austen. She also enjoys photographs and occasionally puts them into scrapbooks. ;^)

We are looking forward to welcoming our first child home in December or January.

We intend this website and the attached blog to be a way to update our loved ones about the adoption process as we wait for Mei Ling. It will also serve as our primary method of updating others on Mei Ling.
